Irena Zolotova, Esq. – Of Counsel

Irena Zolotova is an accomplished attorney with over 18 years of experience in real estate and corporate transactions, advising clients ranging from individuals and start-ups to established businesses, non-profits, and community associations. Her practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate matters, corporate governance, and contract negotiation and drafting, where she is recognized for her practical, solutions-oriented approach. She guides clients through entity formation, licensing, and strategic deal-making designed to safeguard long-term interests.

In addition to her private practice, Irena serves as General Counsel to a real estate management company with more than $150 million in assets under management, where she oversees complex transactions, financial structuring, and risk management. She also acts as outside counsel to New York City cooperatives and condominiums, advising boards on governance, compliance, and transactional issues, as well as real estate, governance, and shareholder rights matters.

Beyond her legal practice, Irena is active in community affairs and social initiatives, dedicating her time to supporting civic engagement, strengthening cooperative governance, and advancing causes that promote transparency, accountability, and access to justice.

Irena earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Columbia University. She is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts and is also a licensed New York Real Estate Broker.
